Vincenzo Li Vigni

Vincenzo Li Vigni received the M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering in 2012 and the Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Technologies in 2017 from the University of Palermo, Italy. In 2012, he was at the Test & Instrumentation Department of the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (FNAL), Chicago, USA. 

Since 2014, he has been with EOSS (Prysmian Group), where he has held positions in Research & Development and Partial Discharge Testing, contributing to the development and validation of monitoring and diagnostic solutions for MV and HV cable systems. Since 2019, he has served as Product Manager for Electrical Monitoring Solutions. 

His main professional interests include innovation in power cable monitoring and diagnostics, partial discharge technologies, and asset condition assessment for MV and HV networks. He is the author and co-author of peer-reviewed papers published in international journals and conference proceedings. He has also been a member of the CIGRE Working Group B1.58, “Condition Assessment and Diagnostic Methods to Support Asset Management of MV Cable Networks.”
